JULY 14th  Received the following message.
Hello Janet, we are members of Herefordshire BDS. On Wednesday July 8th our buildings were broken into and several items
of tack were stolen. One of the alleged thieves was caught and it appears he is a traveller currently residing in North Shropshire. Unfortunately his colleagues escaped. We have circulated the details to everyone we can think of that may be able to help. If you could circulate them to your members we would be most grateful.

The harness was black Zilco Tedman Duraweb (Cob Size) It had trace carriers fitted, the keepers on the breaching straps were actually the rubber stoppers more usually found on reins or martingales, and there is a slight scuff on the offside blinker. It was fitted with a Liverpool 5 and a half inch bit. All the fittings were stainless
steel. The crupper had a quick release clip fitted. The reins were "pimpled rubber" covered. It had recently been cleaned and not
used since. It is in immaculate condition.

Also stolen was a bridle (same size) in brown, fitted with a D ring rubber jointed snaffle. It also had "pimpled rubber "reins.

The saddle was an "Ideal" 17 inch, general purpose with stainless steel irons, white rubber treads and a leather girth.

If any one is offered any of these items or sees them in inappropriate surroundings they can contact West Mercia Police, quoting
incident number 412-S-0800709. PC Mark Herbert on 01432 364516.

Thanking you in anticipation of your help.
Tony & Mandy Reddock
